I hated the residing room in my apartment however everything else was gorgeous.
The residing room was so weird.
The direct center of the room had a woodstove on a cement pad. Even the carpet was split around the raised cement pad. The only location to put a TV was the corner of the room. Think about putting a TV in a corner. It has to be pulled out quite far from the corner so it can fit. Now you are wasting even more space. There were tons of windows in the residing room however it made it hard on where to put furniture plus what direction to face for entertaining. My partner plus I went back plus forth on how to set up everything. At the end of the day the several of us decided that the wood stove needed to go. We ripped up the old heating plan plus unlinkd the cement pad. I was able to sell it to a woman with a hunting lake house that needed a little heater. The carpet was totally wrecked after removing the heating system, so that had to go. My partner plus I tilled the whole residing room plus then locationd the TV where the oil furnace used to be. Now all the windows plus the layout makes sense. It looks way more up-to-date plus less enjoy a log cabin. The apartment has a central oil furnace anyway. I wonder why the homeowners thought adding a wood stove was a great idea. All it did was take up space plus make hte residing room seem small.
