Making great upgrades

When I first moved into my apartment I had grand plans on what I was going to do with it… I had a bunch of money saved, prepared to gut either the master lavatory or the study room.

Instead I ended up needing to buy a brand up-to-date HVAC component right off the get go.

It was 17 years old, made a horrible screeching sound plus hardly provided any AC. I also needed to buy a washer plus dryer since the previous owner chose not to leave them; She left all her garbage plus furniture she didn’t want, plus the washer plus dryer were unlinkd. I am still bitter about it. I ended up blowing all my savings on things I wasn’t prepared for. So I still can’t gut my lavatory plus study room. I am able to do small touch ups that make a large change. I have painted every room in the apartment plus scrapped the popcorn ceilings. I have changed the switch plates, added up-to-date hardware on the lavatory cabinets plus even replaced the toilets in each lavatory, however a large upgrade for me was decreasing the hallway thermostat. It was a basic beige toggle thermostat, but you would take a plastic toggle to change the temperature from the 60 degree range to the 75 degree range. It was certain plus it was tough to read. It was seriously easy to bump plus mess with the HVAC settings. I bought a smart thermostat with a silver surround plus interactive interface. I get told about air filter swings, the weather, humidity levels plus energy efficient settings now.
