We were all excited when we bought a nice family cabin out in the woods.
The nature was fantastic and the cabin was in amazing shape.
The thing I really appreciated was that the cabin was in a clearing with a little stream that had a small bridge you could walk over. Because it was open like that, the cabin received a good amount of sunshine and there were solar panels on the roof for electricity. There was a ductless mini split installed so we were able to have the perfect temperature control settings. It was nice to be able to watch some movies in the cabin while relaxing in front of the fireplace. We also roasted marshmallows and hot dogs on the first day. The next day I decided to make some of my delicious BBQ steak on the charcoal grill that I brought with me. I cooked the steak with a combination of potatoes, onions, and mixed veggies. So far, everybody really enjoys our new cabin, but it’s only to get away for summer vacations. We have hiked all around the area and we even were able to go to the lake that is close by. At the lake, we are allowed to go fishing and swimming. It really was a good time when I took the boys out there on a fishing boat and we caught a few fish. We later cooked those on the grill and they were absolutely delicious. We never had any issues with the HVAC system and everybody had a great time. I can’t wait to go back to the cabin next summer!
