My wife and I had an argument about what kind of air conditioner we should buy

My wife and I usually see eye to eye on a number of important issues.

When it came time to select which school we wanted to send our children to, we both agreed right away after looking at the field of options in our area.

This is no small feat, because there are a lot of schools in this city and some of them are highly rated among public schools in the entire state. When we were planning home renovations last year, we shared the same vision over how we wanted the improvements to look. And when I decided to quit my job to focus solely on my business, my wife was right there by my side encouraging me to follow my dreams. I feel incredibly lucky to be married to such an amazing person, especially when I think about my past relationships. However, recently we finally hit a bump in the road regarding an important decision that affects our entire household. We need a new air conditioner, but we’re not seeing eye to eye on the options available. My wife wants to stick with a cheaper air conditioner, but I want to spend a little bit more to get a machine with a higher SEER rating. This way we’ll have a machine that needs less energy to perform as well as a cheaper air conditioner. Not only will we spend less on electricity charges, we will also increase the value on our entire house. It took a week and a half of constant encouragement, but I finally changed my wife’s opinion on the air conditioner upgrade. I know she’ll be satisfied with the new machine once it is installed.
