There is something to be said about having your ductwork cleaned officially. I believe that our Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C serviceman told us that the two of us only needed to have the ductwork cleaned every couple of years, but the two of us had only been in our condo for a year. I was afraid that the two of us were going to need to have our ductwork cleaned plus it had only been installed a year ago when our condo was built. I couldn’t understand how the two of us were already getting these smells coming from the ductwork. I called the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C contractor who had installed our Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C system plus I was telling him about the smells coming from the air vents. He said that sometimes there can be building products that get into the ductwork system when the condo is being finished. If there was any moisture plus the products were beginning to decay, the two of us could get some off smells. He seemed quite miserable that his servicemans may not have cleaned plus sanitized the ductwork before signing off on the work. He did say he would send a group of professional Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C ductwork cleaners to our condo plus have them disinfect plus sanitize the ductwork for us. It didn’t take undoubtedly long for the team to arrive or to complete their work. I wasn’t the only a single who was surprised to see all of the dirt plus debris that came out of the ductwork when they were cleaning. When they were done sanitizing the ductwork, I was amazed how good the air smelled again. I have a feeling that someone is going to be in trouble when the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C contractor gets this report.
