There is nothing more exciting than the first snowfall of the season, unless it is the first real snowstorm of the season.
Excitement comes in multiple forms whether it is the excitement of opening gifts for Christmas or a birthday or the excitement of events that could be a bad situation.
Being an HVAC supplier and HVAC corporation owner, I prefer the flurry of excitement that comes with the first snowstorm. I have those people who have been putting off having their oil furnace or other heating device cleaned and prepared for winter. They want us to put them ahead of our true emergencies because they are gleeful over the idea of possibly going separate from heating while it is snowing. The two of us also get the excitedly unhappy people who call because they are afraid their supplier has not done a nice task with the maintenance of their gas furnaces. I worry about some of the elderly people who don’t get gleeful about anything until the emergency strikes. I try to instill it into our suppliers that if someone calls for an elderly couple separate from heat, I would like them to try to supply that call a priority. My parents are elderly and I would like to suppose that if something were to happen to their heating that someone would get to them as soon as possible. I have seen too multiple disasters with elderly people because they are proud and suppose they are able to get through anything separate from any help. I guess that as an HVAC supplier and corporation owner, I have a responsibility to take care of those who have taken care of us.
