Getting brand new printers of the entire office

A few months ago, I took over as the office administrator for our small accounting business.

The previous administrator retired, and I was ready to step up and fill the position.

We have about 50 employees, and each one of the offices has its own Epson printer. We purchased all of the Epson printers at the same time, when the company took over the office eight years ago. Unfortunately, times have changed and those Epson printers are now out of date and barely functioning. I attended a seminar last month, and I saw a lot of different commercial printers that will save us time and money. Most of the printers are Epson, which is one of my favorites for office printing jobs. I received authorization from the office last Monday, and the new Epson printers are scheduled to arrive in the next few days. The employees are going to be very happy, because printing problems are the number one complaint throughout the office. After problems with the printer, the copy machine is probably the most fallible equipment in the office. We don’t have a lot of money to buy a new copy machine at this time, especially since we are paying to replace all of the digital printers. I know the staff would love a cop machine, but we really need to wait until we can buy something great. When the next fiscal year begins, I’ll be able to work on procuring a new copy machine or two. Until then, we’ll have to make do with what is in the office.
