It’s sort of weird to acknowledge but I’m for sure an old guy these days.

For the most part, I’m fine with being old. I haven’t been one to go from sitting in the commercial HVAC of the office to the recliner inside the air conditioning of my home due to retirement. Being active all my life has really been of value. Still things hurt more now and it takes me a lot longer to recover from a long day. I’m glad to take care of my body, feed it right and keep it moving. Now at 76, I did something on my bucket list. I finally built a house. Once my wife died, and I moved to this region with four seasons, I lived in apartment. That was okay but I always had a problem with HVAC equipment. There was never enough HVAC heating when it was cold. And the air conditioning was overwhelmed in the summer when it was hot. This helped me with my decision to build a little place just for myself. One thing that I went with was the geothermal heat pump for my quality heating and air. I was sold on the fact and this choice of residential HVAC came with radiant floor heating. It’s the best heating of my life and it’s so reminiscent of what I was a kid. My grandparents had a boiler in their basement and it had radiant heating throughout the house. Each time the HVAC heating comes on, it reminds me of those days long past. It also reminds me that radiant heating is by far the most comfortable and cozy heating method there is.
