For sure, I don’t have all the answers when it comes to how this office should be run.
Yet, I’m quite certain that even I would have done a better job at paying attention to what matters than the last management team.
This was a group that thought using funds from the budget that we’re supposed to go to heating and cooling upgrades and diverting those funds to make the bottom line look better was a good idea. These people also lied and were afraid to make real solutions. For me, I just want the office to run well. That might be part of why the entire management team was ushered out of the office not too long ago. It had been planned as a corporate visit. So of course the management team did all their shenanigans to cover up their malfeasance. However, the corporate team surprised them. Now we have a new boss and a corporate transition team is here. One of the very first things this group did was to upgrade commercial HVAC in our office. The HVAC company was here for several days changing out the HVAC equipment and we now have great commercial HVAC. This HVAC technology change is like a new dawn. Suddenly, I don’t hate having to be at my desk because the air conditioning is so terrible. We’re lucky to even have zone controlled HVAC here in the office now. Our new boss set up zones so we were free to move to the area most comfortable for us. I have real hope for this office again and I like coming to work.
