The temperature controls are broken.

When I moved into our place, I chuckled over the plastic lockbox they kept over the temperature controls.

Along with the linked bill was a note that had I not damaged the thermostat lockbox plus tried to play with the temperature control, it would still be working now. I walked over to the office, paid our rent, told them what they could do with their temperature controls plus undamaged lockbox, plus said I would be moving the following week.
