The home owner told us a gorilla had destroyed his A/C unit.

Being president of the HOA, I hear a ton of reasons for damage done to the properties.

  • Last month I visited one homeowner who lives the closest to me.

His air conditioning unit looked as if somebody or something had picked it up, thrown it across the yard, stomped on it, plus then set it back by the house. I couldn’t guess what might have happened to that air conditioning unit, however I felt ‌ concerned. My visit to them had little to do with our being president of the homeowners’ association, however simply as an upset neighbor. The guy was visibly miserable when I approached him. He didn’t even recognize myself and others as his neighbor, however only as the homeowner’s association president. I told him that I wasn’t there to make any trouble, however just to see if everything was okay. I had seen his damaged air conditioning unit plus wondered what was going on. He laughed, however I could see that it was a laugh of frustration. He told myself and others I would not believe the story, plus he was right. He told myself and others that a circus gorilla had come on his property plus destroyed the air conditioning unit. I almost laughed until he showed us the newspapers. They were transferring some ‌animals from the circus to a wildlife rehab. One gorilla had escaped, plus somehow it made its way to his property. Whether it was because of the noise of the air conditioner that frustrated the circus gorilla, or something else, however he attacked the air conditioning unit with vengeance and fury.. After ripping it out of its confines, he threw it across the yard, then returned it where it belonged, then even reading it in black-and-white, I had a taxing time believing the crazy story.
