I really appreciate my new ductless multi-split system

Being a homeowner has been pretty sweet over these years, but there is one thing I realized that I needed to focus on; the air quality.

The home I purchased came with a boiler system and all that was used for cooling was a bunch of window AC units. I was surprised when one window AC unit I took out of the window was from the 70s. Those cooling machines are certainly built to last! Of course, I figured the ancient window AC unit would cost a small fortune to run. I didn’t want to use window AC units anyway because they are an eyesore when looking at the house. I wanted something more energy efficient and something that didn’t block the view from the windows in my house. Eventually, I discovered ductless multi-split systems. These types of HVAC systems are actually complete because they provide both heating and cooling functions since they are heat pumps basically. The thing about it is that there is a single condenser outside that connects up to 8 indoor HVAC units inside the household or building. I knew that with 8 units inside my home, I could cover just about every room in the house. I wanted to cover the most important areas of course, the living room, kitchen, bathrooms, and the bedrooms. So I made arrangements for this installation and the HVAC experts did a fine job with the installation. The best part is that this system has built-in air purification so my problems with air quality became an issue of the past. Also, the HVAC experts made the installation look so easy and I thought that possibly I could do an installation like this myself one day.
