A good friend of mine who was into writing music and rapping started talking to me about recording at a professional studio.
He said he had a good friend who rented his home studio and helped with the recording and everything for a professional sound.
He even produced his own instrumentals that he sold to people. I was trying my hand at writing songs and I actually surprised myself. I thought it would be great if I could record my music. The thing is, I didn’t practice a lot with my music, I mostly just liked to write poetry and lyrics to songs. Well, my buddy finally took me to the studio. He was allowed to have a guest so I didn’t have to pay, unless I was planning on recording. My buddy encouraged me to find an instrumental I liked so I could finally record my music. When I realized how comfortable I was at the studio and how his friend made us feel at home, I was able to calm my nerves. I appreciated the temperature control settings in the studio and everything. The air quality was nice and I remember asking about that. The guy told me that he used a UV air purification system which he recommended because it provides the best air quality. On top of that, he said that the UV light killed harmful pathogens, so we didn’t have to worry so much about coming down with something. For some reason, that made me feel even more at ease, and I finally picked an instrumental and paid the man to let me record onto the track. I messed up a lot at first, but when I finally got into my flow, I did pretty good. My buddy kept saying that I was a musical genius just waiting to be recognized.
