I love grilling food outdoors, but it’s not an everyday thing for me

One of the first things I learned when I started studying energy saving tips, was to use appliances that don’t generate a lot of heat. This was of course if you couldn’t do your cooking outdoors either because it was too hot or it was raining or something. Well, I loved grilling well enough but there was always a certain issue since I preferred using charcoal. I would always smell strongly of charcoal after grilling, so of course that calls for an immediate shower. I finally decided to buy a new smokeless grill and a rice cooker. The smokeless grill is fantastic and even has a tray that collects all the grease which makes clean up pretty easy. The rice cooker is not only for cooking rice either, you can make anything from bread to chicken and other fantastic dishes. I never was very good at cooking to be honest, but after getting this rice cooker, I learned a few interesting recipes. I found that if I cut the chicken in chunks and tossed it in there with some seasoning, cheese, and rice, it came out as a delicious dish to eat for lunch or dinner. I learned a few other nice recipes and even learned how to make beef stew, it was pretty amazing. I think the best thing is that I was not overheating the kitchen by using the stove. Using low heat generating appliances really is a fantastic energy saving tip, and of course you don’t smell like charcoal afterwards, so it works out great. Don’t get me wrong, I love my charcoal grill to death and wouldn’t want anything else like a gas grill, but I don’t want to grill outside every single day either.
