Several weeks ago, I ended up having to get a new air conditioning system for my house.
The weather is just starting to heat up around here, and of course that’s when my air conditioning decided to go on the blink.
That seems to be what always happens with me. I end up having a streak of bad luck and then everything seems to go wrong for a while. I’m right in the middle of it now, that’s for sure! I ended up getting fired from my job, and luckily I had some money saved in the bank so I had a little bit of a cushion to deal with that. However, when my air conditioning system broke down right after I got a flat tire on my truck, I felt like crying. I just don’t know why all of these things always happen to me, and even worse, why they all happen at the same time. I would like to have a chance to recover from one small catastrophe before I have to deal with another one. That’s just not how it goes in my life, though. This whole thing with my air conditioning system was really annoying to me because my old air conditioning system wasn’t even all that old. It was installed in the house right before I moved in, which was only about six years ago. I did not think that I was going to have to buy a new air conditioning unit for many more years. I guess they just don’t make things like they used to anymore. Luckily for me, at least I got a really good deal on the air conditioning system when I replaced it.
