I’m ashamed to admit that I usually don’t have my old furnace tuned up every year before the winter hits.
This month, my HVAC company is going to be running a furnace tune up special so that people can get ready for the winter weather that’s coming soon! The meteorologists around here keep warning us that we are going to have a really cold winter this year with tons of snow and lots of very cold temperatures.I usually don’t trust them very much, because they are wrong half the time in my opinion. However, I guess it’s better to be safe than sorry when you’re talking about freezing cold temperatures. The other day after I heard this weather report on the radio, it was followed immediately after by an ad for our local heating and cooling company. These are the same guys that I use during the summer to service area central air conditioning for us. I have never known them to run a special before, but they mentioned that they were doing a furnace tuneup special this month because of the arctic blast that we are supposed to have soon. I’m ashamed to admit that I usually don’t have my old furnace tuned up every year before the winter hits. I guess I just trust it too much. Usually it does not let me down, either. But this year, just to be on the safe side, I am going to take advantage of their furnace tune up special!I think that it’s better to be safe than sorry when it comes to things like your heating and cooling system.
