Had to learn how to use the HVAC cooling correctly

Holding off on using the A/C equipment actually allowed me to become more accustomed to the heat of this region

There is honestly no doubt that I’m entirely thankful to have our heat pump and all the lovely Heating, Ventilation, and A/C cooling it brings for nearly 8 months of the year. In this space of the nation, heat and humidity happen to be part of the package. So residential Heating, Ventilation, and A/C and great Heating, Ventilation, and A/C technology are absolutely necessary for managing the heat. And that couldn’t be more true than during the warm season. From roughly mid May to October, the heat is being cranked. And in a big way. Without the A/C equipment it would be nearly impossible to live here to be honest. And the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C cooling also happens to be balancing the humidity levels so every one of us don’t have to deal with mold & mildew day in and day out through the hotter months. Still, Heating, Ventilation, and A/C cooling that is just poured on all the time is neither sustainable nor cost effective. I was able to learn this the hard way when I first moved to this location. That first year felt like the hottest year of my entire life and I had to wonder if I had made a terrible mistake by moving here. Thankfully, I have a pretty great friend who is a native of this region. She showed me the ropes when it comes to using Heating, Ventilation, and A/C cooling judiciously. The most important thing is to not jump right into the A/C during the Spring as the temperatures rise. Holding off on using the A/C equipment actually allowed me to become more accustomed to the heat of this region. So by the time June showed up, I was much more adjusted to the intense heat. I didn’t have to use as much Heating, Ventilation, and A/C cooling and being more accustomed to the heat made doing stuff outside easier.
