There is certainly no doubt that I’m actually thankful to have our heat pump plus all the wonderful Heating, Ventilation & A/C cooling it delivers for just about 8 months of the year.
- In this section of the country, heat plus humidity are a big part of the package.
So residential Heating, Ventilation & A/C plus nice Heating, Ventilation & A/C technology are absolutely pressing for managing the heat. And that couldn’t be more true than during the summer time months. From roughly mid May to October, the heat is working. And in an important way. Without the a/c it would be nearly impossible to live here for me. And the Heating, Ventilation & A/C cooling is also balancing the humidity levels so we don’t have to combat mold & mildew regularly through the summer. Still, Heating, Ventilation & A/C cooling that is just poured on all the time is neither sustainable nor cost effective. I found this out the challenging way when I first moved here. That first year felt sort of like the hottest year of my life plus I wondered if I had made a terrible decision by moving to this place. Thankfully, I have a beautiful friend who is a native of this region. She showed me the ropes when it comes to utilizing Heating, Ventilation & A/C cooling judiciously. The key is to not jump directly into the a/c during the Spring as the temperatures rise. Holding off on a/c genuinely permitted me to get more accustomed to the heat of this region. So by the time July rolled around, I was much more acclimated to the intense heat. I didn’t have to use as much Heating, Ventilation & A/C cooling plus being more accustomed to the heat made doing stuff outside entirely feasible.
