There are so many really weird things in our house.
- One thing that I have noticed is that the heating and cooling vents are all pointed right at the ceiling, the doors, or even straight down at the floor.
None of that makes sense to me because if you want to get the most out of your heating and cooling system without paying a fortune for it, then you know that you don’t want to point the air vents at the ceilings, floors, doors, or windows. It just doesn’t make sense because everyone knows that if you’re trying to keep your heating and air conditioning inside of your house where it belongs, then you definitely do not want to aim your air vents away from the middle of the room. It’s just wasteful. I don’t understand why they set up the rooms the way that they did, but I can only assume that whoever built this house didn’t get any input from a professional HVAC contractor or HVAC technician whenever he built the place. I don’t think that any sort of HVAC professional would have allowed this sort of thing to happen because it’s just not feasible when it comes to heating and cooling your home efficiently. I know that I’m going to have to get some things changed around here before we can all be really comfortable in our new house. I have been thinking about everything that we need to get done, including painting and wallpapering. But really, the worst things that we are going to have to do include changing all of the air vents around!
