I was actually surprised when my neighbor asked me if I wanted to buy an HVAC system.
- I had to admit that I was in the market for a new HVAC, but I wasn’t sure what I wanted.
He told me to come over so that we could talk. He made us some coffee and everything and then he showed me the ductless mini split. It was stacked up neatly in his garage. He said his brother got it for him a little while ago thinking that he might want to install his own HVAC system. He of course told me that he doesn’t have a clue about how to install the thing and it was just taking up space in his garage. The system was brand new, and it had a high SEER rating. I asked my neighbor how much he wanted for the system and I couldn’t believe how much he was willing to let it go for! It was so cheap and for a whole HVAC system with multiple zones. I immediately paid the man and hauled the HVAC system back to my garage. When my wife got home, she couldn’t believe what she was seeing. She asked me if I went and bought a new HVAC system, and I said I did and that we needed the upgrade. She admitted that was true, but then asked if I was going to install the thing myself. I said, “As a matter of fact, I am!” She couldn’t believe it when I installed the whole thing, but I just watched the tutorial. It was a breeze!
