Making a quality HVAC website

The key to success in the modern era is being adaptable.

Things change so rapidly, if you can’t change with them, and pick up new skills as you need them, then you will be left on the scrap heap of history.

I don’t think I am a particularly smart guy, at least if we are going by grades or work performance, but I am able to adapt to changes in my environment. I can work with new people, I can change tasks as needed, and I can write content for any client, any subject, any time. Recently I was tasked with an HVAC website, and coming up with engaging, quality content for people on the hunt for furnaces and air conditioners. What do I know about HVAc equipment? Not a dang thing, at least beyond what everyone else knows. I can change out an air filter, I can work my thermostat, and that is about the long and the short of it. But my job was to provide expert-level quality website content for an HVAC company, so I had to be authoritative in my work. I spent a 12 hour crash course online, watching youtube videos and reading tutorial blogs on the basics of HVAC care and upkeep. I came up with a list of topics for blogs and articles, each about a specific aspect of heating or cooling, or about a particular piece of HVAC equipment. From there I worked each topic separately, learning a whole lot about one tiny part of the HVAC industry, and took it one step at a time.
