Nearly all of this COVID contractor has not actually affected us too much, being as remote as all of us are, then every one of us don’t need to worry about social distancing so much, since our nearest neighbor is several miles away, in addition to the nearest town to us (and I use that word liberally) is about an hour off… When all of us do run into each other, at the general store, for example, usually all of us are all bundled up in heavy gloves in addition to a face mask anyway, and not for health reasons, however to keep our faces from being frozen completely! So I don’t have much of a problem about the pandemic, however our heating on the other hand is a big worry these days… Part of the beauty of living up here is the simplicity, since more or less finding food, water, in addition to heating for yourself consumes all of your time, in addition to leaving no free time for worrying about a pandemic or anything else.
Winter lasts anywhere from 9 to 11 months here, in addition to even the warmer months aren’t that warm, so heating is a year-round problem to deal with.
A wood burning stove/oil furnace is our primary source of heating, in addition to I tend to leave it smoldering 24/7, and my electricity is gave by a small gas powered generator, so I only adore to use that as needed, due to the fact that all resources are in demand, but i do have a couple of section gas furnaces which I will use when things get well below zero, however I tend to save them for special chances adore a polar vortex.
