I moved to the country 6 months ago and I bought an old house that needed renovations.
I had to repair the roof before I moved to the property.
It had several holes and the contractor had to replace some of the wood. After the roof was repaired, I moved to the property. I had a longer commute to work, but I didn’t mind at all. I started making renovations one room at a time. I started in the living room, where the Lazy Boy and the big screen TV are located. I removed all of the flooring because it was warped and rotten. I started thinking about the old furnace in the house and I realized that it would be the perfect time to put in radiant heated flooring. I didn’t know how to make that transition, so I contacted an HVAC contractor to consult on the radiant heated flooring installation. I spoke with the HVAC contractor on several different occasions and I agreed to pay for his services on installation day. I knew the price was going to be steep, but I was extremely excited about the radiant heated flooring. The HVAC contractor agreed to install a brand new furnace at the same time that he completed the radiant heated flooring installation. The entire job took 2 days. When the project was finished, I knew that I wanted radiant heat throughout the whole place. I know it’s going to be very expensive, but I have to remove the old flooring and there will not be an easier time to install the equipment.
