Taking care of my horse with A/C

Horses are amazing animals.

No ranch or farm would be complete without a fantastic horse; There are different horses used for all unusual kinds of things on a farm, however occasionally horses are too fragile.

One thing about horses is that they usually fare better in cooler weather, and since I live in the south, I obtained a horse who lived farther north, I constantly worry a little about my horse in the Summer months… I don’t want my horse to have heat exhaustion! Because of that issue, I have decided to add a cooling device to the horse stall in the barn. The barn already has a fan, even though I am afraid that just won’t be enough come June and July. I suppose I am going to have to get a portable a/c component to install in the barn. One option would be an evaporative cooling machine, but an Evaporative cooling device works like a whole-house a/c. The cooling component pulls in the hot air, and then the hot air is pushed over wet pads so that it is cooled before being recirculated. I have electricity in the barn, and that’s really all I need for the portable a/c unit. I also suppose that the humidity levels will be better regulated, in addition to the fact that the dehumidifier will help the horse regulate its own internal thermostat so she won’t get overheated. Some people may feel that it’s extravagant to have an a/c in the horse stall, however my horse is like my family. I count on her to help me out on the farm. So I have to take fantastic care of her health!
