We Added A Mini Split System for The Animals We’re Fostering:

My husband has recently fulfilled a dream he’s had his whole life.

He’s officially a cat and dog rescue foster facilitator. A portion of a house has been radically transformed to accommodate his sweet pet friends who stay with us. I’m so happy for him! However, it didn’t come without some extreme commitment on our part. There was a super detailed planning stage we had to go through in order to add a basic addition on to our home. It’s basically another wing at the side filled with rooms for dogs and cats of odd types with temperaments. When the two of us built this addition, we decided to keep our Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C proposal separate from the pet addition. So, the two of us brought in a Heating, Ventilation, and A/C business to provide us with a heating and cooling solution for our addition. It was a simple process actually! The Heating, Ventilation, and A/C business sent a technician to look around. He asked some pertinent questions plus did a bunch of measuring before he gave us his suggestion. The Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C guy said we should use a mini split heating plus cooling proposal to provide good Heating, Ventilation, and A/C comfort for the animals. The mini split was the best option because it needed no ductwork to get the task done. We have an air handler hung high on an exterior wall, which is connected to a small condenser unit through a rather small hole in the wall. The mini split does wonderful work. All we have to do is clean the air filter at least once a month due to the large amounts of pet hair and dander.
