I live in a house with four boys plus my husband, so maybe that actually makes it five boys.
Anyway, these boys have been driving me crazy lately.
Between football practice, laundry and keeping up with their constant appetites I can’t seem to catch a break. I have been trying to find a way for me to get them all to help out more around the house, but I feel like when I ask for help they do a terrible job and I have to go back and redo it anyway. Well, one thing that I have been able to keep under control lately is our smart thermostat. Before we got the smart thermostat the boys were always changing the temperature and it would drive me crazy. So I called a local HVAC company to come out to the house and install a smart thermostat. While the HVAC tech was installing the smart thermostat he showed me how to put a password on it so no one else could change the temperature beside me. I didn’t even tell my husband the password because he is the worst about changing it all the time. I have been so pleased with myself ever since I got the smart thermostat and all the boys haven’t been able to mess with the temperature of the house. I hope they don’t figure out the password soon though because it is one of their birthdays and I don’t know how to go back and change it.
