I am a very impulsive man.
My wife would be very quick to agree with that statement if you asked her. When I decided that I want to get or do something, I do it immediately with no questions asked. That can be a strong point of mine sometimes when a quick decision has to be made, and I am able to take leadership somewhere. However, most of the time it is definitely a weakness. I recently purchased a small tv monitor to use for online gaming. I did a few minutes of research before making the decision, and I picked one of the cheapest options possible. It had decent reviews, but my wife warned me that I might regret it. I definitely do now. The sound isn’t terrible if literally, nothing else made a noise. However, the volume can’t even compete with the air conditioner that I have. The air conditioner is quite new, and the background noise for it is definitely not overpowering. But it always ruins my games or television shows because my speakers can’t get any louder than the air conditioner. All I can hear is the fan, and it really frustrates me. When I use headphones, it is still not loud enough to be able to hear. My furnace did the same thing in the Winter, and I fear that I wasted my money. HVAC equipment is essential for comfort, and now I realize that I should have invested my money into better equipment. Oh well, because I can’t get my money back. I would rather leave my air conditioner on and save for a better television that I can actually hear.
