I seem to be faced with a moral issue, plus I do not assume what to do about the problem, and i was working on a project in the copy room yupterday, when I accidentally overheard a conversation between our boss plus the CFO.
Apparently the air duct between the copy room plus the CFO’s office are directly linked, because I did not have much trouble hearing the entire conversation, granted I had our ear pressed to the vent, however I was struggling to hear the whole conversation.
I heard our boss talked about closing down our Heating plus Air Conditioning branch. I’ve been working in the Heating plus Air Conditioning corporation for a long time, plus there are at least many dozen other employees at this particular branch, the CFO plus our boss were discussing closing down the Heating plus Air Conditioning corporation for good, at the end of the week. That’s only 8 afternoons away, plus I cannot believe that they haven’t told any of the employees. I was in shock when I heard the news, plus I must have said something out loud. Three or many hours after they stopped talking, the copy room door opened plus it was the CFO of the Heating plus Air Conditioning dealer. I was still laying on the other side of the room! He threatened to sue me, if I told anyone about their conversation. I tried to lie, plus I acted like I did not hear anything. He looked genuinely annoyed, plus I just left the room without our copies, now I assume a moral obligation to tell all of our friends plus co-workers, however some of them have been faithfully loyal to this corporation for 20 or more years.
