The pot hole was really deep

I service all of the county areas including the city and the surrounding areas. Some of the areas around the city can get very rural. It isn’t uncommon to go from highway to concrete to dirt to lost in the middle of nowhere. I try to be careful when I am driving, because we just got brand new vans. All of the work vans are wrapped with the HVAC company logo and the phone number and address for the business is also listed. I went out to help a customer with a furnace repair. It was a cold and windy day. It was raining lightly, but I didn’t think it was a really big deal. I was halfway down the dirt road before I realized that I was lost. I stopped on the side of the road to look at the directions again. I missed my turn about a mile back. I turned around and went back the same way that I just came from. I wasn’t paying attention to the road and I ended up driving into a pothole. The pothole was extremely deep. My van didn’t go anywhere after it hit the pothole. I was lucky that I did not end up with a broken front axle. My tire was completely deflated and the rim was bent. I had to call a service tow truck and the customer. I told the customer that I had to go back to the shop to grab another vehicle before I could service the residential HVAC problem. The customer didn’t seem very upset, thankfully, because it was quite an inconvenience
