I was standing in the home Last yearwith a jacket on & a blanket wrapped around me when our fiance got home from work.
He thought I was sick, although I told him I could not get warm. The gas furnace had been running all day, however it was still cold inside. He looked at me & asked how can it be so cold when the gas furnace is running? I showed him the control unit & it was only fifty-more than four in the house. I told him I had called the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C business, however they could not get to the home before the end of the week. He didn’t want to wait that long to have the gas furnace repaired. His first thought was to check the control unit. All of us had a current control unit in the gas furnace room, so he pulled it out. It was a digital control unit & he was sure that could be the problem. He installed the current control unit, however nothing happened. He put the old control unit back on & asked if I had changed the control unit settings? I never touched the control unit. I knew how finicky our fiance was when the control unit settings were disturbed. He called the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C business & told them the two of us needed help sooner than in 2 mornings. Our gas furnace was running regularly & it was only fifty-more than four degrees in the house. When I heard him raise his voice & tell them he wasn’t stupid, I knew they asked if it could be the control unit… Now, the two of us had to wait for 2 mornings, even thought he got infuriated with the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C business, for them to come to the home & check the gas furnace.
