The gas furnace had been running all day, but it was still cold inside. He looked at myself and others and asked how can it be so cold when the gas furnace is running? I showed him the temperature control and it was only fifty-five in the house. I told him I had called the HVAC corporation, but they couldn’t get to the home before the end of the week. He didn’t want to wait that long to have the gas furnace repaired. His first thought was to check the temperature control. We had a new temperature control in the gas furnace room, so he pulled it out. It was a digital temperature control and he was sure that could be the problem. He installed the new temperature control, but nothing happened. He put the seasoned temperature control back on and asked if I had changed the temperature control settings? I never touched the temperature control. I knew how finicky our hubby was when the temperature control settings were disturbed. He called the HVAC company and told them every one of us needed help sooner than in 2 mornings. Our gas furnace was running constantly and it was only fifty-five degrees in the house. When I heard him raise his voice and tell them he wasn’t stupid, I knew they asked if it could be the temperature control; Now, every one of us had to wait for 2 mornings, even thought he got uneasy with the HVAC corporation, for them to come to the home and check the gas furnace.
