I need to find a new employee to replace Jack

Jack is one of my best HVAC repair technicians. The guy can handle commercial and residential repairs and installations. He has been an employee with this company for the past 10 years. I was lucky to snatch him up right after he passed his technician test. He is one of only three technicians and the company that are certified in refrigeration repairs on commercial equipment. He handles all of the repairs at the car parts factory. The factory is easily one of the biggest commercial accounts that we have. Just finding someone to replace him on that job is going to be difficult enough. It’s safe to say that I am sad to see the guy leave. There is no way that I could convince him to stay. I offered him more money as soon as he handed in his letter of resignation. Unfortunately, the decision wasn’t about money. He is moving out of town to be with his mother. She is very ill and cannot take care of herself. Jack is moving to that house to live with her and help out. I gave the guy a letter of recommendation and he already found a job working for another commercial HVAC repair service. It’s going to be tough for me to find a guy to replace such an asset to the company. During the past week, Jack has single-handedly taken care of five repairs, two installations, and a handful of routine HVAC technicians. He also caught a huge boiler leak that would have been missed by someone else.
