I recently had a getaway, plus even though it was for work, there were still some things about it that were nice.
I was putting on a conference, which is a ton of work plus wears me out, to be honest, however once the workday was over, I could go out to a nice restaurant for supper or go to our charming room plus hang out enjoying the air conditioner or whatever. I entirely was too exhausted to go out to any of the parties or even to supper with anyone, so I just went to our room each night, lots of people thought it seemed like I was upset or lonely, however let me tell you, I was in heaven. I turned the temperature control setting way down, soaked up the a/c through our pores after perspiring all afternoon, turned on the TV, had a glass of wine, plus relaxed, but one night, the air conditioner felt so great that I fell asleep at about 8:00 p.m. plus didn’t wake up until the sunrise was shining through the sheer curtains. I curled up under the soft blankets plus let the air conditioner blow through the a/c vents plus just appreciated the charming early afternoon. When I got up, I was able to repair a cup of coffee, go out onto the balcony plus watch the golfers below. It was truly beautiful. I have to confess that a large section of the fun was just enjoying the cooling; I knew that every time I lowered that temperature control, the a/c I was getting blowing on me through those air conditioner vents in the ceiling, was free. I like being frigid at home, too, but I know I will pay the price when the heating plus cooling bill comes in.
