We opted to use a boiler system to heat the new school

We got a chance to test the heating system before the children returned from their holidays

The school was undergoing some significant renovations last summer. All students were at home, so we saw it as the perfect opportunity. The upgrades included new furniture and a new basketball court for the top team. Apart from structural repairs, we also needed to tackle the air conditioning. Last winter had been eventful with the central heating and cooling system shutting down multiple times. We had to phone the AC service three times for emergency aircon repairs, costing a lot of money. After speaking to the board, we opted to replace the old air conditioner with a boiler system. The only time the AC was in use was during winter, and water was a better way of delivering thermal energy. The boiler unit business was helpful and answered all the questions we had about the system. We learned that many more significant institutions opted to install a boiler to save on power and reduce repair needs. The boiler heating system would need annual maintenance, but it was the right fit for the school. The boiler company gave us several options to choose from that had terrific features. Plus, we got to learn more about boiler systems installation costs. The air vents we had used with the aircon unit would work to deliver ample warmth to every room. The system kept heat near the floor, meaning there was little chance of kids and staff getting chilly in winter. We had lots of water in the area, so there was little concern about this. The air conditioning installation process went on well. We got a chance to test the heating system before the children returned from their holidays. A few issues cropped up, including a faulty thermostat. The AC business was more than willing to come and make repairs. We also signed a boiler unit maintenance plan for annual servicing.
