Building a condo and staying in a temporary rental

My spouse and I have both been married before, but we each had our own condo and kids when both of us got together, and before getting married the two of us discussed what would be the right choice for almost everyone.

It seemed wrong to uproot 1 family and not the other… My modern spouse and I decided that both of us could really afford building a condo from scratch. That way the condo would be sizable enough for all the kids to have their own room and be just what almost everyone wants. I wanted a condo with heated flooring, our spouse wanted a workshed. I needed granite countertops in the living room and our spouse wanted to have covered parking. The building process was going to take almost a year though. My spouse and I didn’t want to wait that long to live together as a family. I found a fully furnished condo with a month to month lease. It was enjoyable for all of us. My spouse and I wanted to get all modern furniture for our condo anyway, so it was nice being able to throw the seasoned stuff out. The fully furnished rental was a no frills, necessary choice. The kids had a bed, a shared lavatory and the living room was decent. It wasn’t luxury residing, however it wasn’t rough residing either. That yearly leasing choice made it nice too. My spouse and I didn’t have to rush the condo building process along at all. We could make sure everything was perfect before almost everyone moved in together. It was charming not residing in a construction zone.
