Until you have had the privilege of having a space heater you simply haven’t lived! My husband and I have a very reliable heating and cooling system.
The central air conditioner is simply amazing and our gas furnace does an excellent job of heating the house during even the coldest of the winter months.
To go right along with it we also have a traditional fireplace and a space heater. Because the climate around here is so cold, we live to have extra heating units available in case the furnace ever was to die. Having a HVAC technician come out to repair a broken heater can be expensive around here and so we like to be prepared. We had to learn this the hard way a couple of years ago. When we first moved to town we lived in a different home, it was old and run down because at the time it was all that we could afford. We didn’t know anything about tune-ups and how important they were and that same winter our furnace died and we had to have it repaired. Because it was already run down from the start it needed a lot of fixing and the bill we had to pay to have it repaired by the heating and a/c professional was an expensive one. We have learned our lesson and when we moved to a nicer place we made sure to take care of our HVAC system too. This has been much easier for us because now we no longer have to worry about our heating system breaking down in the middle of the winter.
