Just one year ago, I married a heating and cooling technician.
It is actually because my husband works as a heating and air conditioning professional that we were able to meet to begin with.
At the time I was going through a rough patch in my life after I had just split up with my abusive ex boyfriend and now to make things worse on the hottest day of the year my air conditioner was breaking on me. I had no choice but to contact my nearest heating and air conditioning provider so they could send out a HVAC technician to take a look at what was causing the issue. This is when I first met my husband, and the part I remember about meeting him the most was just how smiley he was. He was such a happy and friendly person and even when I was talking to him about how terrible my air conditioner was, he made talking to him easy and all our conversations went smoothly. I liked him so much that I requested for him to be my heating and cooling repair guy and he was happy too. On his second visit when he was giving my heater some tune-ups that Fall he just straight up asked me out. He wasn’t shy about it at all and he quickly went from being my best friend to my boyfriend. Now we have been together for three years and we are expecting our first child, and because he still works as a HVAC professional we are able to get all kinds of great discounts and if there is ever a problem with our heater and air conditioner he is able to repair it.
