My Dad is always the man who knows everybody else’s business, then he is the first single person to hear any kind of gossip.
However, I believe the fact that he works in a beauty salon helps… People are always talking there. I have made it legitimately clear that I don’t want to hear all of the gossip. It is none of my suppliers and I would appreciate it if I could keep it that way. So when my Dad started saying, “Linda at the salon told me…” I stopped him right there. I didn’t want to hear it, or so I thought; but my Dad insisted that I did want to hear it and it turned out he was right. I run a local heating plus A/C business. I service a/cs and oil furnaces and stuff akin to that, however apparently Linda wants to replace the beauty salon’s heating plus A/C plan and she wants me to come and supply her a price quote. But the beauty salon has had a window a/c plan for years. In the winter, they get by with a few space heaters. The salon is not legitimately big so it has worked fairly well. However, Linda wants to replace the look of the entire salon. She wants a much more new look. So that means central heating and air. The shop is legitimately small. I will have to look at it again but I don’t believe a traditional heating plus A/C plan will do. Instead, I am thinking about suggesting a ductless mini split HVAC system. Those work better in smaller spaces. Besides, I wouldn’t have to tear the walls apart. Pricewise, I believe it would work for Linda as well.
