When we go inner tubing at the river, we take it pretty seriously.
First of all, we always go on the really hot days so we can enjoy the water.
The water from the river is honestly the perfect cooling system that is there thanks to mother nature. Well, we also bring cooling systems with us. That’s right, we have a bunch of massive portable cooling systems with batteries that recharge with solar panels. We keep the portable cooling systems connected and we keep the solar panels charging the batteries while we are at the river. We also keep a huge tent set up with all our food and drinks. The cooling systems work to keep the tent nice and cool so when anybody is feeling a little too overheated or they want to eat or drink, they can relax inside of the tent! We call it the ‘Cool Tent’ and it really is. A lot of our elder family members prefer to relax in the tent, and honestly, I don’t think they would come to enjoy the river with us if we didn’t provide that cooling relief for them. We always have fun times going down the river on our inner tubes and we always meet a lot of interesting people too. Other people appreciate our ‘Cool Tent’ and we don’t mind that they come and have some food and relax in the A/C for a little while. We always have a blast down at the river and this is something we enjoy throughout the summer season. I think it’s safe to say that summer is our favorite season!
