I just noticed that my air conditioner is slowly becoming less and less effective

On a total whim I was hoping that maybe I forgot to replace the air filter and it was so clogged it was slowing down the air conditioner

I can’t handle the hail storm of expenses that I’m getting hit with right now. I just fixed my car and now I have to pay out of pocket to see my doctor if I want to get my prescriptions refilled this month. When I still had health insurance, my copays to see my doctor were only $25. I didn’t fear the thought of needing to see my doctor, even if it was over something minimal. Nowadays I avoid calling my doctor to avoid spending another $100 needlessly, especially if it isn’t an emergency. Unfortunately, I take a number of medications daily and my doctor won’t continue prescribing me these drugs unless I see him at least once a year. Between the $100 appointment fee and the cost of each medication at the pharmacy, I’m really struggling financially right now. This is amid issues I’m noticing around the house. I have an oven that’s getting weaker by the month, but I don’t have the money for a new one anytime soon. Unfortunately, I am noticing the same issue with performance when I turn on my central air conditioner. It struggles to maintain the same temperatures indoors that I’m used to setting the thermostat to. I have to keep making the temperature warmer and warmer if I want the a/c to stop cycling. On a total whim I was hoping that maybe I forgot to replace the air filter and it was so clogged it was slowing down the air conditioner. Unfortunately, that did not turn out to be the case.
