I don’t think I would consider myself or our family as elitist. However, we are fortunate enough to have great finances and don’t have to worry too much about life. I do my best to make sure that I remember to pay attention to the small stuff because that’s what makes life nice. Although we have plenty of money, our lifestyle is not opulent. But, there are certainly plenty of niceties. Our house is lovely and has a state of the art HVAC. I love being able to dial in the HVAC comfort to the exact level that I want. It’s nice too because our HVAC has 7 distinct zones throughout the house. Everyone can get their HVAC comfort just the way they want it. We also do a lot of traveling and end up staying in really nice hotels. While I have always appreciated the amenities and the level of service, the HVAC has always sort of disappointed me. I have found it to be lacking if it’s really hot or really cold outside. On a recent trip, my family and I experienced a mechanical breakdown. Plus, we were sort of in the middle of nowhere. Fortunately, we were able to get to a small town where the car could be fixed. However, that meant spending the night in a motel. This was new to all of us and there was some trepidation. However, I was thrilled with the HVAC unit. It was one of those big wall units that sticks outside. This thing was so powerful that it cooled that room down in a jiffy. Who knew that motels have the best HVAC?
