Really feeling grateful

It shouldn’t have been a surprise given the age and condition of the aged HVAC.

There are many different things to be thankful about. At least, that’s what I keep telling myself. In a sea of change and difficulty, it is tough to absolutely remember to pay attention to the things that make life good. There are a myriad of them in all of my life. It’s simply paying attention to them that is the tricky part. I even relish small things like coming to the beach house to love the HVAC comfort in my home. The neck of the woods that I live in is particular in the sense that the people I was with and I have a undoubtedly frosty Winter however also a moderate & humid Summer. For some reason, I like to be frostier than hot. I suppose this actually runs counter to what all the people feel. Coming home to a beach house that is cozy moderate from the HVAC on a frosty Winter day is great. However, the feeling I have when I come in from outside while the people I was with and I were in the Summer is another thing. I just love walking inside to a cool beach house where the humidity is balanced and it feels so crisp. This is one of the small things that I cherish every day. Then, one day this Summer, I didn’t. I came home and the HVAC was not on. I called for HVAC repair and was told that the HVAC had died. It shouldn’t have been a surprise given the age and condition of the aged HVAC. What was a surprise was that I was looking at waiting a month before the HVAC unit I wanted could be shipped. That’s where the HVAC pros stepped in. They offered me about 3 portable air conditioner units to use until they could install the modern one.
