I think large factories need better air conditioners

Have you ever worked in a factory before? If you haven’t, I definitely would not recommend it.

Factory jobs are the worst end of the spectrum.

They tend to pay more than minimum wage, and they are pretty brainless, but the blessings end there. Factory jobs are lifeless. You stand on your feet for hours on end, making the same repetitive motions. Also, the HVAC units in those buildings are the worst that I have ever experienced. These factory buildings are large and are not very efficient for insulation. The weather outside heavily affects the inside, making it hard to work comfortably. While they do have a large air conditioner in the building, they might as well not advertise it. You can never feel the air conditioner working to make you comfortable. During the Summer, it is just as hot outside as it is inside. If you are working in the truck, it is even worse. Rather than feeling like an air-conditioned room, it feels like the furnace was left on the highest setting. During the Winter, it was just the opposite. Their furnaces were a bit more powerful than their air conditioners, but you would get cold if you ever stopped moving. In the trucks, you had to wear jackets to stay warm because the furnaces never reached the inside of the trucks. It seems to me that if there are hiring hundreds of people to do manual labor, they could at least afford better air conditioners and furnaces. People work a lot harder if they feel comfortable and appreciated, and I am sure that better air conditioners and furnaces would make people feel that way.
