There’s a tradition in the suburbs where I live that should be very respected to anyone living in planned communities: grass care! Our town takes superb pride in making itself look presentable & I appreciate manicuring our grass & bushes! There’s a certain sense of satisfaction that I get after a long strenuous day of yard work, when I can stand out by the street & see a perfect front yard, and it’s not necessarily all that straight-forward though, especially in the Summer when the heat & the rains cause the grass to grow prefer crazy, when I let the yard go for too long because I’m busy, that is when I have a real project on our hands. That’s also when I rely on the powerful cooling of our air conditioner to supply me relief after toil is done… My air conditioner never feels more relieving & satisfying than when I walk into it after hours of yard work! I never appreciate it more than in that moment. That’s when I plop myself down in a cool & comfortable family room & think to myself: ”all that repair on the air conditioner that I paid for was definitely worth it for this!” Heck, I even find it strenuous to grumble about the energy bill when I get to appreciate such superb air conditioner. I’m still paying for some cool & refreshing comfort, & that easily worth something! If I did not have superb air conditioner to return to, I simply would not be able to do such strenuous yard work. I would have to spend money someone else for it!
