First afternoon on the task

I was recently provided a task that I could not refuse.

I have been laboring as a doctor in a small hospital for the past couple of years and I am particularly ready for a change.

I prefer the hospital I currently work at even though I don’t gain much experience because they are not more than 2 patients that come in every afternoon. Most mornings my associate and I get two to four patients and it is normally something really simple to fix, but however, I was provided a task at the brand new, state of the art hospital that is opening a couple of towns over. I know that I will either have to transport or make a long commute everyday, even though I know it will be worth it in order to get experience laboring in the operating room. The new hospital I am in is so small that the heating and cooling system is controlled right by the doctor station, that means that if I am too chilly I can just change the temperature of the thermostat. When I walked into my first afternoon at the new hospital, it was chilly cold. It felt like the air conditioning was blasting and the training room was about 60 degrees. I was shocked that no one else was complaining about the blasting air conditioning system and the temperature of the room. I didn’t want to complain since it was my first afternoon, even though I am really going to have to bring a sweater tomorrow! I just hope the they turn down the thermostat as the hospital opens and my associate and I start to accept patients.
