I was hired five days after I walked across the stage, I left particularly fortunate because that isn’t’ the case for all the people.
I toil for a honestly big architectural firm, but we are a full size firm that has architects, engineers and interior designers. I am the administrative assistant, but it is particularly cool to see all these practices come together and toil on such big scale projects. It is also particularly nice that my friend and I don’t have to contract out any toil because my friend and I have all aspects of the construction project toiling under one roof, especially the engineering work. Two months ago my friend and I were award a project that was to build a brand new hospital. It was to have 68 beds, a full emergency department and a medical office building. The hospital my friend and I are building for already has the task arena picked out and there is currently already a hospital standing on there. It has been abandoned for two years, they are hoping to use the new hospital as the bones for the new one. The first order of supplier was for the Heating and Air Conditioning engineers to go out and inspect the new layout and condition of the air duct. We needed to make sure that the Heating and Air Conditioning system wasn’t old before my friend and I started to do any new construction, however luckily, it looked like the air duct was in superb shape and the Heating and Air Conditioning engineers had a superb foundation to beginning with; Heating and Air Conditioning engineers are one of the most substantial aspects of the construction process, especially for my firm!
