No one wanted an a/c more than me.

Our local television channel was holding a contest.

In 100 words or less, you had to convince them why you wanted an a/c, plus why you should have it more than anyone else.

I sat there listening to the rules of the contest. I needed a new window air conditioner unit. The one I had was starting to get Alzheimer’s; You never knew when it was going to work, or if it would swiftly start throwing moderate air instead of cold. I was planning on buying a new air conditioner unit when I got paid, however if I could win one, I would not need to put out more currency. I carefully plus thoughtfully penned the answer I was going to send out to the TV channel. It took me three nights to word my application so it sounded slightly desperate, however not needy. I wanted to make sure the paragraph was perfect! Finally, I signed on to the TV channels web page plus found where the contest was. I put in all my personal information. I carefully wrote exactly what I had on the page, plus sent the SMS. Only one SMS was allowed for each entrance into the a/c contest. When I looked back, I realized I had copied the original entrance instead of the revised one. I was sure there was no way they were going to choose me for the air conditioner unit. I waited two weeks after the air conditioner contest was over, before going out plus buying one. I knew it was because of the poorly written essay on why I needed the a/c more than anyone else.
