I am quite pleased with how my smart thermostat turned out. I had heard a lot about how great smart thermostats are, compared to the old dial thermostat, but I wasn’t so convinced. People would spend a lot of time talking about how sleek and modern they looked, and how nice the touch screen was. I was never fascinated by new technology, I mean it is cool and everything, but nothing to obsess over. But I ended up getting a smart thermostat anyway. Why? Well my old thermostat was messing up and I needed to get a new one anyways, and when I asked what the heating and air conditioning professional thought was the best thermostat, he recommended a smart thermostat, because it is the best one for saving money. So I decided to get one because of that, even though the price of the smart thermostat made me think otherwise. But now after having it for a month, I am so glad that the heating and A/C tech recommended getting a smart thermostat, and I understand why so many people recommend the thermostat now. It has saved me almost ⅓ of my bill each month, and that is incredible! All from just changing a thermostat. I am loving my new thermostat, and now I wish I had gotten one sooner. I am thinking about posting a video showing how happy I am with my newest HVAC technology addition to my home. I think a video explaining how great these thermostats are could help a lot of people.
