I felt bad for the cooling technician today.
It was a really hot day in the summer, and the temperatures were reaching the 90s.
Ofcourse, that is when my A/C machine decided to go out on me. There was no way I could go without cool air conditioning in these kinds of weather conditions, and so I called a heating and cooling professional to come and repair the HVAC unit for me. To be honest, I was fully expecting that they would be too busy, and would have to come out on a different day, because usually when it is super hot like today, they have a lot of appointments of other people in the same situation. But no, they actually had availability and could send a heating and cooling worker out in a few hours. When the A/C specialist arrived, he started working on my cooling unit immediately. I watched from my window, out of curiosity. I kind of felt bad for the cooling technician though, because as he was working on the cooling machine, I could tell he was sweating really badly, working in that hot weather. I made sure to get him a cold glass of water when he was done repairing the A/C device, to show my thanks for bringing comfort in my home again. It took about 20 minutes, but then he was done, and he was grateful for the cold drink. I told him he could take the cold drink with him, and thanked him again for his hard work on such a hot day.
