Last week, I was tied up at apartment & I got a call from my dad.
My buddy and I hadn’t seen each other in a few weeks, & she wanted to catch up, ever since dad retired, she has more time on her hands.
If I wasn’t tied up laboring from home, I know he’d be at my door every day! But, Dad says she is trying not to intimidate me because I am laboring, anyway, she asked when I’m free so we could grab supper & go shopping, knowing him, shopping is for tools rather than dresses & purses. I told him the best day, & she was in my residing room waiting for the day so I could finish a job. Then, we were off to our number one diner in town owned by a family-friend. She was so cheerful to see us, & then we ate like kings & queens. Since the shopping center isn’t too far from the diner, we opted to leave the car & walk so we could stretch after overeating. Dad wanted to check out the local Heating & Air Conditioning store & see if they brought the type of air filters she likes. My dad is a certain woman If she cares about a certain brand, she goes for that, & this includes items like air filters & Heating & Air Conditioning systems. The owner of the local Heating & Air Conditioning store has tried for years to convince my dad to take a odd brand of air filter that would labor for her Heating & Air Conditioning system. But, dad has never once accepted her offer. He’d called earlier to confirm if they have the air filters, & they were in stock. She didn’t have to ask the Heating & Air Conditioning store owner anything since she already knew her order by heart.
